Greetings Fellow Motorcyclists!
This one will be short, but we don't want you to miss the Twisty
10th Anniversary Twisty Sisters RallyAugust 20-22, 2010
Ladies, you are in for such a treat at this year's Twisty Sisters
Rally!!! It is August 20-22 and it's our 10th Anniversary!!! Can
you believe it has been that long???!!!
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, GT and Judy have designed
a Fabulous Tee Shirt!!! You can pre-order by 8/15/2010 to guarantee
your size and color and a price of $20.00, or take your chance on
size/color during the rally for $25.00.
If you have not yet registered, please do so!!! There is no registration
fee again this year
If you have already registered but want
to order the Tee Shirt, you can either fill out another registration
form-or just email Judy or GT with the color (Hot Pink or Light
Blue) and size of the Tee Shirt. I don't have an image to post,
but you know it will be great!
I have included the "Schedule at a Glance" below-and
you can view it and more information on the website (www.TwistySisters.com)
-so check it out!
The Lodge at Copperhead (www.TheLodgeAtCopperhead.com)
had a ladies only ride scheduled for Saturday, August 21, so we
decided to "join forces" so to speak. Theresa Lovallo
will be leading a ride there Saturday morning to join that group.
If you don't like to camp and don't have a room at TWO, you should
check the Lodge out! They have nice rooms and cabins and, of course,
they are "motorcycle people"!
And, finally, Pete Tamblyn (of Stayin' Safe-www.StayinSafe.com-

NEW OFFERING: Ride with Ken!!!
We have had a lot of interest in the new offering, so we wanted
to repeat it! Ken does have some openings and the weather will soon
be cooling down!
Personally designed and lead by local veteran Professional Motorcyclist
and Trainer, Ken Murray. This is a one day ride beginning in North
Georgia. The ride will include GA60 to Tennessee, TN68 to Tellico
Plains, and East on the Cherohala Skyway into North Carolina. Plenty
of photo opportunities and strategically planned stops at unique,
local motorcycle attractions. Expect a leisurely pace covering some
of the best motorcycle roads in North America. This ride will be
great for a two up Ride.
OPTIONAL: Turn this into an On-street Skills Refresher Session
with rider-to-rider communication for an additional fee.
with Ken for details or call Ken at (770) 573-9902.

Very often a lack of precision control can easily be traced to
a lack of "precise fit" between rider and the motorcycle.
Riders often choose a motorcycle because of the "cool"
factor, they need to feel part of a group, overwhelming peer pressure,
or to make a statement. Important reasons, to be sure, but certainly
not at the expense of control.
When we see customers having issues with control, it's not because
they can't comprehend the technique-physically they're unable to
maneuver their motorcycle with precision due to "poor fit."
Simply put, the controls are difficult to reach and operate, thus
causing poor riding technique.
In a perfect world, control, fit, and comfort should not take a
back seat to "cool." But if you can't comfortably reach
the controls, precision will always be a challenge.
Why carry a handgun??
Day by day, the world is becoming a more violent and dangerous
place. Our peacefull mountains and valleys are no exception.
If you live alone, in remote areas or quiet neighborhoods.
If you jog or hike, especially alone.
If you're on the road a lot.
If you are concerned about your safety and your families safety.
Carrying a loaded handgun is a tremendous responsibility that requires
the proper training, a high level of maturity, responsibility, compassion
and the resolve to use it if absolutely necessary. If you want to
learn what it takes and want experienced and proper training, then
call JoAnna and me.
